Cloud Computing Complex is located in Tseung Kwan O District where the data center of Hong Kong Stock Exchange is constructed and concentration of data centers are expected due to the high connectivity from the cable landing stations. Surrounding area is home to an array of local and international companies. There is no presence of high-risk facilities in the vicinity, suitable for mission critical business operations. Besides, the building is not directly on a major highway, arterial road or railway line.

No history of flooding for over 100 years and it is located outside flooding black spot area.

The data center meets or exceeds the design requirements of local buildings codes to withstand dynamic motion caused by earthquake or wind gust. Hong Kong lies far away from the nearest crustal plate boundary which is 600 km away. The chance of major local tremor is very small. The earthquake risk in Hong Kong is low to moderate.

The location of the facility is in the immediate vicinity of a major leading bank where risk assessment has been carried out.
