Cooling Tower Insufficient Water Supply Drill - Safeguarding Data Center Operations
Telehouse Hong Hong CCC safeguarding the operational integrity of our data centers is paramount. In line with this commitment, we regularly conduct targeted drills to ensure our systems and teams are prepared for any infrastructure issue. Our latest exercise, the "Cooling Tower Insufficient Water Supply Drill," was designed to address potential disruptions in our cooling systems, which are critical for maintaining optimal server environment.
During the drill, our dedicated R&M Team, led by our engineer, swiftly responded to a series of "High Cut" alarms from CRAC units, indicating a significant drop in water flow. The team performed a thorough check of the cooling system, from valves to water levels, and implemented corrective measures including manual bypass operations and temporary setups to restore normal water flow.
This proactive approach not only enhances our readiness for similar incidents but also assures continuous cooling efficiency, crucial for protecting our clients' data. We are grateful for the ongoing support from our clients and staff, which drives our continuous improvement in operational resilience.
